Pricing Structure Review C File: The C File or Claims File should contain the service medical records, medical records since discharge, statements from lay people, and communications from the Veterans Administration. The charge is $250.00. If we decide to go ahead with the Independent Medical Evaluation, the $250.00 is applied to the fee. Researching and writing the Document of Support: The fee depends on the complexity of the case, and the amount of time needed to write the Independent Medical Evaluation. Second or more letters (if needed): It depends on the complexity of the case but is less than the original document.
