Dr. Butler has been a successful leader for the medical profession for over thirty years. While in private practice of general and vascular surgery, he was a tireless patient advocate. After suffering a spinal cord injury, he became a disabled veteran advocate while working for the Paralyzed Veterans of America in Washington D.C. Dr. Butler has brought a lifetime of advocacy to helping veterans with health claims before the Veterans Board of Appeals, and has done so for over five years. He served in the Army Medical Corps and is disabled, so he understands the plight of the veteran with disabilities and brings this special understanding when helping the veteran deal with problems associated with their health issues. Independent medical evaluations from physicians with experience can profoundly and positively influence a veteran's appeal to the Veterans Administration. Dr. Butler believes that the men and women who have given so much to their country deserve to have the best chance possible for a favorable outcome.
